XsitePro Version 2 Is Coming Soon!

Being an avid user of XsitePro, I have been patiently waiting for version 2 to be released.  Originally scheduled for Autumn 2007, the developers ended up making some major changes that meant a complete rewrite of the code.

XsitePro2 promises to be a marked improvement on its predecessor, so it will hopefully have been worth the additional wait.  The upgrade to V2 will be available to existing users somewhere around 20th May 2008.  The full XsitePro version 2 product will probably be released mid June.  I have put a shot of some page samples that XSP2 is capable of building using the new template styles on my XsitePro resource pages.

The price increase for XSP2 has not yet been announced, but I believe there will be a $50 to $100 mark up on the cost of version 1 (currently $197).  Because I have been using XsitePro for about 18 months, I will not qualify for a free upgrade to version 2, but hopefully the upgrade fee will not be too high.  For those of you considering buying XsitePro, now would be a great time - free upgrade at version 1 pricing and still getting a 12 month, no questions asked return policy if you don’t like it.
